With just days to go, we are in the final stretch to election day and PurpleTV is doing everything it can to persuade blue and purple voters to turn out for Kamala Harris.
Over the years ahead we will look back on this election and think about what we thought and what we did.
This is what we did:
As of October 30th, we’ve run 3,268 Harris national TV ads and 1,285 pro-Harris/anti-Trump ads for clients.
We started broadcasting in Milwaukee on June 27th just before the Republican Convention.
We’ve expanded from that one TV market to 35 TV markets and now reach well over 40 million OTA (over the air) TV homes. More than any other TV network.
On July 18th and July 19th, we ran opinion pieces with many others suggesting that Joe Biden step aside and pass the torch to Kamala (President Biden did on July 20th).
We covered all four days of the Democratic Convention live on air.
So far we’ve aired 35 live rallies since then, 30 of them in October.
We aired all 4 nights of the Democratic Convention in Chicago.
We added “Political Climate Change” on September 12th, poking fun at Trump’s bad behavior and his low intelligence.
We added pro-Harris political opinion pieces on October 31st. We plan to run several hundred by Election Day.
Our small team started working together on June 1st. We are proud of what we have done to defend American democracy from Donald Trump, a leader so poor that many Republicans and former appointees (including his own Vice President) refuse to endorse him, or actively oppose him, calling him a threat to democracy and America.
We are now in the last few yards of the race and if we care we should all stretch to save our country from the poor quality, blustery and bigoted leadership that Trump would bring. It is time to stand up and be counted. Time for the votes to be counted. Vote Harris/Walz.
